National Bank of Cambridge Cambridge Maryland

National Bank of Cambridge, Cambridge Maryland was founded in 1880.  They aren’t on the problem bank list, but they would be a good contender.

Assets are $213MM with $24MM in equity.

The problem loan portfolio is $32MM.

So, if your problem loans are $32MM and your equity position $24MM, you can’t even get on the problem bank list these days. Something has got to give.  These regulators are not only dumb, but tough.

Check out the website, they won’t even tell you who is the CEO of this mess.

We may not know who he is but he wiped out 43% of the equity in 3 years.

This place survived the Great Depression, but it might not survive the current management team
